Sobre mí
Rafaelos Christofi es un compositor acústico y electroacústico, compositor de música para cine y diseñador de sonido galardonado, nacido en Nicosia, Chipre.Estudió Composición Clásica en Codarts University of the Arts en Róterdam y Composición para Medios Audiovisuales en el Centro Superior Katarina Gurska en Madrid, tras iniciar su formación musical en guitarra clásica en la Escuela de Música de Nicosia.Su trabajo abarca cine, documental, ópera, teatro y proyectos interdisciplinarios. Ha colaborado con organizaciones como la Dutch National Opera and Ballet, IFFR, EUROMUSE, la Fundación Filarmónica de Oviedo y Prime Video, y ha trabajado junto a compositores como Luis Ivars y Nikolai Clavier.Christofi ha recibido el Primer Premio del International Youth Music Competition (2021) y el Primer Premio de la Comisión Nacional de Chipre para la UNESCO por un cortometraje documental (2021). En 2024 fue nominado a Mejor Música Original en los Premios IRTVE y en 2025 fue seleccionado para la residencia artística de EUROMUSE.

About
Rafaelos Christofi is an award winning acoustic and electroacoustic composer, film scorer, and sound designer born in Nicosia, Cyprus.He studied Classical Composition at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam and Composition for Audiovisual Media at Katarina Gurska in Madrid, after beginning his musical training in classical guitar at the Music School of Nicosia.His work spans film, documentary, opera, theatre, and interdisciplinary projects. He has collaborated with organisations including the Dutch National Opera and Ballet, IFFR, EUROMUSE, Fundación Filarmónica de Oviedo, and Prime Video, and has worked alongside composers such as Luis Ivars and Nikolai Clavier.Christofi is the recipient of the International Youth Music Competition First Prize (2021) and the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO First Prize for a short documentary (2021). He was nominated for Best Original Music at the Premios IRTVE in 2024 and selected for the EUROMUSE artistic residency in 2025.
